• Academic year lasts from the 1^st October 2008 till the 30^th September 2008 and includes:

-winter semester

-summer semester

Inauguration of the academic year 2008/2009 will be held on the 10^th of October in Hall of Rector’s office; Rybacka str.1.

• Winter semester lasts from the1^st October 2008 till the 08^th of February 2009 and includes:
  1. Didactic period from the 1^st October 2008 till the 22^nd of  December and from the 05^th of Jan. till the 21^st  of Jan. 2009.
  2. Winter holiday: 23^rd Dec 2008 – 04 Jan. 2009.
  3. Winter examination session: 22^nd  – 29^th  Jan. 2009. 
  4. Semester break: 30^th Jan. – 08^th Feb. 2009.
• Summer semester lasts from the 09^th of February till  the 30^th of June 2009 and includes:

• The period of time beginning with the end of summer semester till the beginning of winter semester (2009/2010) is intended for summer practice, holiday and the re-sit examination session.
• Re-sit examination session: 1^st – 25^th September 2009.
• Rector’s days: 10^th October 2008, 10^th November 2008, 02^nd May 2009, 12^th June 2009.
