The opening ceremony
The opening ceremony was held on 27-th Septemner 2007 in the presence of the authorities of Szczecin, the Pomeranian Medical Univeristy, librarians and public.
There are many facilities for users in the Main Library: a 115-seats, modern reading room with wireless internet, the lending room with open access to the bookshelves, 3 group study rooms, 4 individual study rooms with full-access workstations. There are also about 60 computers in the library (50 with an access to internet). A 40-seat lecture room is equipped with 10 computers and projection system. In the computer room 6 computers provide access to the library-related resources and internet.
