Regulations for students in Psychiatry Department

REGULATIONS FOR STUDENTS IN PSYCHIATRY DEPARTMENT:

  1. There are three kinds of exercises in Psychiatry Department:
    • clinical clerkship,
    • psychological clerkship,
    • seminars
  2. For N1 group: each day starts a seminar at 8.00 a.m. in a seminar room (2-nd floor).
    Then you will be divided into small groups, and continue the exercises with the assistants - up to 13.30.
  3. For N2 group: each day starts a seminar at 13.30 p.m. in a seminar room (2-nd floor). Then you will be divided into small groups, and continue the exercises with the assistants - up to 19.00.
  4. Every day there is a different topic of clinical clerkship, to which you should be prepared, using the books named below.
  5. During the first week of exercises in Psychiatry Department you will have to learn psychopathology. Your knowledge will be checked out by a short test on one of the seminars (you will be informed before about the data of this seminar).
  6. The conditions that are necessary to finish the exercises: 100% of presence on all the exercises and 1 referral to psychiatric hospital that you will have to write during the exercises; finally a small, oral check-up from the seminar and exercises knowledge – done by your assistants.
  7. At the end of your exercises in Psychiatry Department you will have to take the test exam, for which you should come with an examination paper, index, the one referral letter.
  8. If you are unable to take part in the exercises (but only due to life-important reasons), you have to: inform your assistant, make up for the omitted clinical clerkship (during the shift) and pass a small check-up from the seminar knowledge.
