INTERNATIONAL EDUCATIONAL PROJECT “MASTERCLASS: INTENSIVE CARE MEDICINE”
The Masterclass is a free of charge online elective course designed for medical students from the third year onwards. It is delivered via Zoom and combines expert lectures, interactive case discussions, and insights into modern intensive care medicine.
The next course cycle will start in April 2026.

THE BLUE EUROPE 2025–2026 “ALEXIS DE TOCQUEVILLE” STUDENT CONTEST
Dear Students,
We are pleased to inform you about an exciting academic opportunity offered by Blue Europe, an independent non-profit think tank dedicated to strengthening dialogue and cooperation between Western, Central, and Eastern Europe.
Blue Europe has officially launched the 2025–2026 “Alexis de Tocqueville” Contest, honoring the legacy of the renowned French political thinker Alexis de Tocqueville, whose work Democracy in America remains a cornerstone of modern democratic studies.
The competition invites Bachelor, Master, Doctoral students, as well as recent graduates (degree obtained after 2023), from the EU/EEA, UK, US, and Canada to submit original academic papers exploring the relationships between European regions, with a special focus on Central and Eastern Europe (CEE).
Topics may include (but are not limited to):
· Political Science & Governance
· Industry and Technical Science Applications
· Economy, Trade & Industry
· Innovation & Technology
· Sociology, Law, Public Policy
· Climate Policy, Energy & Sustainability
Awards
Selected papers will be published on Blue Europe’s website, with a 2000e prize for the winner.
Key Dates
· 01 September 2025 – Contest begins
· 31 March 2026 – Abstract submission deadline
· 30 June 2026 – Final paper submission deadline
· 31 August 2026 – Winners announced

To register, you must send an email to:

With the subject line:
“Registration for 2025-2026 competition”
Your email must include, a 250–500 word abstract and a provisional title for your paper. Proof of academic enrolment or recent degree may also be required. Once your theme is accepted, you will receive the official registration URL.
We strongly encourage interested students to take advantage of this excellent opportunity to showcase their research, gain visibility, and contribute to discussions on European affairs.

Internships and career opportunities in EU institutions - on-line meeting
Join an online event organised by the Department of European Integration and Law of the Warsaw School of Economics, in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The meeting will focus on internships and career opportunities in EU institutions and is open to students of all fields of study interested in European affairs and building a professional career within the European Union.The event is especially timely, as in mid-February the European Personnel Selection Office (EPSO) is expected to announce a new AD5 competition for even bachelor’s degree graduates, with no prior professional experience required.
