1. When does the recruitment process begin, and when can I apply?

Recruitment process for the academic year 2026/2027 starts from the 25.05.2026. You can submit your application till 20.07.2026.

2. Which subjects do you take into consideration during recruitment process ?

We take into consideration two from the following subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics.

3. Could you explain the Admission  process and provide deadline for 2026 intake?

Recruitment process at PUM consist of two steps:

STEP 1 – registration period (25.05.2026 – 20.07.2026)

STEP 2 – admission (July – August) – decision processing

  • Create an online account through the University web page apply.pum.edu.pl
  • Fill in your personal data
  • Pay an application fee (85.00 EUR – non-refundable)
  • Upload scans of the documents
  • Submit application
  • Wait for the evaluation                                             

STEP 2 – admission period (July – August) according to the yearly published Calendar decision processing includes three options :

1. Offering the place at the respectful major – Conditional offer

  • APPLICANT receives Conditional Acceptance Letter from PUM
  • Applicant has 7 days to confirm the offered place and upload confirmation of  payment for pre-courses (600.00EUR)
  • Upon confirmation of the place and payment Applicant receives :
    - 3 codes for obligatory on-line  pre-courses (one for physics; one for biology; one for chemistry)
    - individual schedule for delivering the required documents to the Dean's Office
  • Applicant receives Certification of Enrollment and becomes a STUDENT from the 1st of October

Ranking list will be published:  24.07.2026 / 31.07.2026 /  07.08.2026

2. Offering Wait List – if you were not conditionally accepted and not failed either

If you ranking place is close to the limit of offered seats for a given Program , you might have a chance to be accepted. Please check your inbox on daily basis within these time frames 24.07.2026 – 19.09.2026

3. Rejection – several reasons may result in a negative decision towards the applicant: usually it means that overall score achieved was insufficient to grant admission in current intake.

Decision will be sent 14.09.2026 – 30.09.2026

Deadline for 2026/2027 intake – 20.07.2026

4.What are the criteria to apply for Medical / Dentistry program?

The recruitment process is based on a competition of High School Diploma/ Secondary School Certificate. We take into consideration the following subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics. At least two of them have to appear on your certificate, and one of the subjects must be taught on an advanced level. The maximum score for participation in the recruitment is 100% of requirements - which is the sum of points from two selected subjects.

5. What documents are required to apply to this program ?

Before you apply please prepare the following documents :

  • Original native secondary school leaving certificate
  • Sworn translation (if secondary school leaving certificate is issued in languages other than English or Polish)
  • Original official transcript of grades (if applicable)
  • Grading scale (if not included on the secondary school leaving certificate)
  • Original eligibility declaration (if applicable)
  • English language proficiency certificate
  • Passport or EU National ID Card
  • Proof of payment of 85 EUR for registration fee
  • Passport photo

6. Can I apply with my predicted grades?

Yes if you are applying within the same year the predicted grades were issued.
According to Pomeranian Medical University rules applicants from UK and Ireland require a formal statement from school showing predicted grades in the exams you are going to take. Formal means stamped and signed.

7. What does High School Diploma “final grade” means ?

Final grade on High School Diploma means : exam grades. If no exam  grade is presented, year's end grade or last semester grade (depending on which one is show on the certificate).

8. Can I apply to more than one program?

Yes, you can apply to English Program medicine and dentistry in one session. You, may not , however, apply to the medicine English Program and Asklepios Program at the same time:

  • You must submit all of your complete applications before the respective deadlines
  • You must cover a registration fee of 85.00 EUR for each application
  • Please make sure that you marked the right application as a priority

Please note that in case your priority application receives the Conditional Enrolment status, the secondary application will be automatically rejected (as you can't study two programs simultaneously)

1. What is the duration of Medicine / Dentistry program?

The duration of Medicine program is 12 semesters (6-years) From the first till third academic year students have a semester system  of studies, classes on the fourth, fifth and sixth years are being conducted in a block system.

Dentistry program is 10 semesters ( 5-years ) The first two years deliver with knowledge from basic preclinical disciplines, the following three years focus on dental disciplines and clinical studies. The fifth academic year comprises 30 weeks of practical training.

2. Does your degree allow graduates to pursue postgraduate medical training?

Graduating from PUM offers possibility to apply for admission to postgraduate studies and doctoral studies as well as right to pursue  postgraduate internship.

3. Are there any specific preparation steps or courses you recommended?

The University offers online pre-courses in three subjects: Physics, Chemistry and Biology. These courses are mandatory for all students who are conditionally accepted. Each accepted candidate will receive three individual access codes to the pre-course platform via e-mail.

The course fee is non-refundable (600.00 EUR) even if your resign from your place after accepting it.

4. Are the pre-courses obligatory?

Yes, Pre-courses are mandatory for all students who are conditionally accepted.  The aim of these courses is to help future students refresh their knowledge of the basics in: Biology, Chemistry, Physics.

5. Is it a full-time course?

Yes, English Program Medicine (6-years) and Dentistry (5-years) both are uniform long cycle Master`s degree studies.

Medicine - the duration of the program is 12 semesters, with total number of 5710 hours of lectures and practical classes.

Dentistry - The duration of the program is 10 semesters, with total number of 5 000 hours of lectures and practical classes.

6. Can you send me more information about Medicine / Dentistry program ?

Medicine Program:

  • Duration: 6 years
  • Qualifications: Master's degree  LEKARZ/Medical Doctor (MD)
  • Language of instruction: English
  • Entry requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent, English proficiency certificate

Dentistry Program:

  • Duration: 5 years
  • Qualifications: Master's degree LEKARZ DENTYSTA/ Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD)
  • Language of instruction: English

1. How can I pay my application fee?

You can pay your application fee for each submitted application – 85.00 EUR (non-refundable fee) via our bank account.

2. How can I pay the registration fee?

We accept bank transfers made directly to our EUR account

Also, please make sure that all transfer fees are covered by the sender (you) so that the amount that reaches us is full and correct. In case someone else is paying you fee, do make sure that your name is mentioned in the transfer description.

3. How much does Medicine / Dentistry program cost?

The annual tuition fee rates vary depending in which year you have been admitted. Tuitions fees you can found on our website please follow the year of enrolment :

4. Can I pay in instalments?

Yes, tuition fee can be paid in two instalments:

-I instalment  by the 1st of October

-II instalment by the 1st of February

Is the program taught entirely in English?

Yes, all the classes on Medical and Dental majors are taught in English Language.

 

Classes in my high school were conducted partly in English. Do I need English language proficiency certificate?

English language proficiency certificate is not require if English was the only language of instruction. If the classes was done partly in English then the certification is  required.

 

Which English proficiency certificates are recognized - IELTS, TOEFL or others?

Can Duolingo English be certificate accepted ?

Yes, prospective students wishing to stay in Dormitory during the academic year are requested to contact Dormitory staff (ds5@pum.edu.pl) about any possibilities of accommodation. Places are limited. Please visit our website for more information :

2. Can I apply from spring semester?

We have admission only once a year, academic year starts from winter semester only.
