Absolutorium studentów Programu Anglojęzycznego / Graduation Ceremony of the English Program

24 czerwca 2023 roku w Auli Rektoratu Pomorskiego Uniwersytetu Medycznego w Szczecinie odbyło się Absolutorium Programu Anglojęzycznego Wydziału Medycyny i Stomatologii w roku akademickim 2022/23. Gospodarzem uroczystości był prodziekan Wydziału Medycyny i Stomatologii prof. dr hab. n. med. Sebastian Kwiatkowski, który powitał władze uczelni, przybyłych gości, absolwentów i ich bliskich oraz kadrę dydaktyczną PUM. Magnificencję Rektora Pomorskiego Uniwersytetu Medycznego prof. dr hab. n. med. Bogusława Machalińskiego reprezentował prorektor ds. promocji i współpracy regionalnej prof. dr hab. n. med. Dariusz Chlubek.

W tym roku 58 studentów kierunku lekarskiego i 24 studentów kierunku lekarsko-dentystycznego odebrało Karty Absolutoryjne i Dyplomy Pamiątkowe. Tradycją Uniwersytetu jest nagradzanie absolwentów wyróżniających się w nauce, z wysoką średnią ocen z całego toku studiów. Nagrody przyznano 18 studentom z obu kierunków. W tym roku 3 studentów zostało nagrodzonych za aktywne uczestnictwo w kołach naukowych: pan Jonas Peter Sina, panie Matilda Ashkenazi i Anuleena Asikainen.

To wyjątkowe dla absolwentów wydarzenie ozdobiły gratulacyjne przemowy prof. Dariusza Chlubka, prodziekanów Wydziału Medycyny i Stomatologii:  prof. Sebastiana Kwiatkowskiego, dr hab. n med. Aleksandry Gawlikowskiej-Sroki, zaproszonych na uroczystość profesorów z Klinik w Niemczech. Przemawiali również koleżanki i koledzy ze studiów: panir Wiktoria Sikora i Matilda Ashkenazi oraz pan Mutaz Saleem.

Na uroczystości, współpracującym od lat z PUM profesorom z Evangelisches Krankenhaus Hamm, Ernst von Bergmann Klinikum w Poczdamie, Klinikum Frankfurt /Oder oraz ASKLEPIOS Klinikum Uckermark w Schwedt został oficjalnie nadany tytuł Profesora Afiliowanego PUM. Nominacji dokonał prof. Dariusz Chlubek wraz z dziekan Wydziału Medycyny i Stomatologii dr hab. n. med. Edytą Paczkowską.

Profesor Sebastian Kwiatkowski zaprezentował osiągnięcia nominowanych profesorów. Nominację otrzymali Prof. Dr. med. Wolfgang Kamin, Prof. Dr. med. Christian Peiper, Prof. Dr. med. Rudiger Heicappell, Priv.-Doz. Dr. med. Gralf Popken, Priv.-Doz. Dr. med. Christiane Richter-Ehrenstein.

Uroczystość uświetnił występ chóru PUM pod batutą dyrygent Marii Pławskiej. Wspaniała atmosfera i oprawa artystyczna zapewniły wszystkim niezapomniane wrażenia. Dziękujemy wszystkim za wspaniały czas i zapraszamy do obejrzenia fotorelacji!

On June 24, 2023, in the Main Hall of the Rectorate Building of the Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin, the Graduation Ceremony of the English Program at the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry took place. The ceremony was hosted by the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, prof. dr hab. n. med. Sebastian Kwiatkowski, who welcomed the university authorities, guests, graduates and their relatives as well as didactic staff of PUM. Rector Magnificence of the Pomeranian Medical University prof. dr hab. n. med. Bogusław Machaliński was represented by the Vice Rector for Promotion and Regional Cooperation prof. dr hab. n. med. Dariusz Chlubek.

This year, 58 students of the medical major  and 24 students of dentistry major received Graduation Cards and Commemorative Diplomas. Traditionally awards for the high average grade were given to the  distinguished  students for their studies. 18 students from both majors were awarded. This year, 3 students were awarded for active participation in scientific associations: Mr. Jonas Peter Sina, Ms Matilda Ashkenazi and Ms Anuleena Asikainen.

This unique event for graduates was embellished by congratulatory speeches from prof. Dariusz Chlubek, Vice Deans of the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry: prof. Sebastian Kwiatkowski, dr hab. n med. Aleksandra Gawlikowska-Sroka, as well as professors invited to the ceremony from Clinics in Germany. From the side of graduates the speeches  were given by Ms  Wiktoria Sikora, Ms Matilda Ashkenazi and Mr Mutaz Saleem.

During the ceremony, professors from Evangelisches Krankenhaus Hamm, Ernst von Bergmann Klinikum in Potsdam, Klinikum Frankfurt /OderFrankfurt (Oder) and ASKLEPIOS  Klinikum Uckermark Schwedt, who have been cooperating with PUM for years, were officially awarded the title of Affiliate Professor of PUM. The nomination was made by prof. dr hab. n. med. Dariusz Chlubek together with the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry dr hab. n. med. Edyta Paczkowska.  Professor Sebastian Kwiatkowski presented the achievements of nominated professors. The nomination was received by: Prof. Dr. med. Wolfgang Kamin, Prof. Dr. med. Christian Peiper, Prof. Dr. med. Rudiger Heicappell, Priv.-Doz. Dr. med. Gralf Popken, Priv.-Doz. Dr. med. Christiane Richter-Ehrenstein.

The ceremony was graced by the performance of the PUM Choir under the baton of conductor Mrs Maria Pławska. The great atmosphere and artistic scenery provided an unforgettable experience for everyone. Thank you all for a great time and feel invited to watch photoreport!
